We are using our extensive collection, which has been built up over the last 45 years and which continues to be developed and diversified, in order to improve access to development research literature, especially for those in parts of the world where such access is often problematic.  As a part of improving access BLDS is striving to improve the visibility of this research, in particular of that published in developing countries, both current and historical, which often remains unseen by an international audience, who could benefit from a wider range of perspectives.  The work falls into a number of separate projects:

Current project work:

The BLDS digital library

Publications Exchange

Document delivery

Increasing Access to Developing Country Journals

Showcasing Historical Development Publications
